Ibis Budget Singapore Pearl

The hotel I located in a very busy and not the best neighborhood however we felt safe an welcomed . Exactly as expected.

The room was what was expected from a budget option - smallish but absolutely fine for my needs. Facilities (bathroom, shower etc) basic but fine. Everything was clean and tidy. There's a safe in the room and a quite big TV (which I didn't use), the AC worked well in the room too. There's an MRT less than 10 mins walk from the hotel (Aljunied). The staff were super helpful and friendly - helping with questions, ordering taxis, storing my luggage for a few hours after checkout (thanks Siti, Rishi and Pang). Pang ordered me a taxi when I needed to leave for the airport, it arrived in 3 minutes and the journey to the airport was just 20 mins. Great place to stay if you're looking for a budget option that isn't a dorm room. I would stay here again.

The location is close to many places to eat as well as minimart shops. It's very easy to find food and various other necessities.

This place is great value for money. It is an Ibis Budget, so if you have stayed at one before, you know what to expect (small but functional rooms, quality mattress, small bet functional bathroom). The breezeway with tables and vending machines was appreciated, as the rooms are small and the lobby was often filled with arriving busloads of tour groups. Tons of places to eat and drink within a short walk. Vibrant streets and interesting shops and fruit stores. Giant durian markets a few blocks away. Nice restaurants and bars mixed in with low priced food stalls.

Friendly service at the check-in/check-out. It was clean and the guest gets basicly all what is needed for a budget stay in Singapore. By bus close to the Sun Tech City Tourist Hub ( Big Bus tours). Not far from the city centre. In the neighbourhood around the hotel there guests may find a bigger choice of affordable food. I chose the hotel by prize and location and it is good value for a more budget stay in expensive Singapore.
